Building this site in public — with a coding agent

The site you're reading was built by a coding agent working from a spec: a full personal-brand site, a design system, SEO, and a Vercel deploy — in one pass.

This is the most on-brand build I could publish: the site itself. I handed a coding agent a spec and let it build the whole thing — the Ship Log design system, a data-driven tool directory, structured metadata, and a production deploy on Vercel.

The rule that mattered most

No fabrication. No invented view counts, no fake testimonials, no guessed social handles, no placeholder screenshots pretending to be real products. Where a number wasn't verified, it didn't ship. That constraint is exactly what makes a build-in-public site worth trusting.

It's the same pattern as every other tool here: an agent moves fast across a huge surface, and the human's job is to hold the line on what's actually true.
